Description:
Introduced by Plant Delights Nursery in 2011, this plant was propagated from bulbs received from China in 2008. It flowers in late August with fire engine red flowers with heavily-ruffled petals on purple-black 20-inch stalks, and its green ribbon-like fall foliage emerges in mid-October.
