Description:

A low, shrubby, spreading perennial plant, this cactus is covered by very dense spines and produces peach-colored flowers. It grows many branches up to 10-20 cm tall and forms small clumps or mats of pads up to 2-3 meters wide. The blooming season is from late spring to early summer, with individual flowers opening from 7-11 hours per day.
