Description:
Nepenthes hamata is a carnivorous plant native to the highlands of Sulawesi, known for its dramatic, fang-like teeth on the peristome. It thrives in warm days and cool nights, requiring good light and humidity. This strong climber can reach up to 23 feet in length and produces both lower and upper pitchers, which are lime green with bright green hooks. Nepenthes hamata is rare in cultivation and is often grown in greenhouses, where it can adapt to temperature and humidity fluctuations.
