Description:

Chrysogonum virginianum 'Pierre' is a native groundcover from the eastern US, forming evergreen patches of 6-inch tall rosettes. It produces 1-inch yellow, daisy-like flowers starting in May and is maintenance-free. This plant thrives in light open shade and does not tolerate overly dry soils. It can be easily divided and spread, making it an excellent choice for covering ground. Native bees are its primary pollinators.
