Description:
Native to Central America and Northern South America, this plant forms a bold specimen with glossy green leaves that can grow up to 6 feet tall. The leaves are large, measuring 20 inches long and 1 foot wide, and have a plastic-like texture. From June to October, it produces 7-foot tall spikes of white flowers, which are followed by small plantlets. This plant can spread to form a patch up to 15 feet wide and is suitable for marginal or full aquatic environments.
