Description:

Ricinus communis, commonly known as the castor bean plant, features large, bronze-red leaves and scarlet seed heads. It is heat- and drought-tolerant, attracting hummingbirds and pollinators. However, it is extremely toxic if ingested and can cause contact dermatitis.
