Description:
Symphyotrichum novae-angliae 'Purple Dome' is a drought-tolerant New England aster with 18-inch stems of fuzzy, narrow green leaves. In early fall, it is topped with vivid, 1.5-inch wide shocking purple daisies. This native plant spreads to 3 feet and is a favorite for attracting butterflies and other pollinators.
