Description:
Portulaca molokiniensis is a rare, endangered plant endemic to Hawaii, known for its small yellow flowers. It grows in volcanic tuff and rocky slopes at low elevations and is easy to propagate. This plant was first collected in 1913 and officially described as a new species in 1987.
