Description:
Arisaema consanguineum, discovered at 4,000 feet elevation in Yingjiang, Yunnan Province, China, was named in 1993 by Dr. Li Heng. It forms a small patch to only 8 inches tall by 18 inches wide and spreads very slowly via short underground rhizomes. The leaves are silvery green with a dramatic black interveinal leaf pattern.
