Description:

Thelypteris penangiana is a tropical-looking fern with 5-foot long fronds from a creeping rhizome. It forms a 6-foot wide patch over 10 years and is native to forested streamsides at elevations of 3,000 to 10,000 feet. This plant grows well in moist and average moisture garden sites and is used medicinally in China.
