Description:
This plant, known for its short foliage, features 22-inch tall by 3-inch wide green leaves with few yellow flecks and becomes deciduous below 12 degrees F. It is a very low maintenance perennial that grows well in both moist and dry soils with good drainage and must be grown in shade. It is a superb house plant, durable in less than ideal conditions, and produces amazing flowers at the base of the foliage, often in winter.
