Allium victorialis

Family: Amaryllidaceae, Genus: Allium

Description:

Allium victorialis is an early-emerging plant with glossy green, paddle-shaped leaves that reach about 1 foot tall. In May, it produces a 2-foot tall flower spike topped with a 2.25-inch wide ball of greenish-white flowers. This plant was collected at 5000 feet in Northern Spain's Cantabria region and is known for its resilience, with no seedlings observed in over a decade. It is a sun-loving perennial that attracts butterflies and is resistant to rabbits, making it a robust choice for gardens.
