Oxydendrum arboreum

Oxydendrum arboreum, also known as Sourwood, is a North American native tree with excellent fall color, displaying scarlet, burgundy, yellow, and crimson red leaves. It produces fragrant white flowers in early summer, resembling Lily of the Valley, and is known for producing valuable Sourwood honey. The tree thrives in acidic soils and adds winter interest with its deeply furrowed bark.
