Serenoa repens 'Papay Silver' is a native palm of the southeastern US, known for its ability to grow in very acidic sand. Northern populations have green foliage, while southern ones display silver foliage. It can reach up to 8 feet tall and 12 feet wide in a decade, but it struggles during the first three years of growth.
