Thalia dealbata

Thalia dealbata, also known as hardy canna, is an aquatic plant native to the southern and central United States. It thrives in swamps, ponds, and wetlands, growing 3 to 4 feet tall with blue-green, canna-like leaves. This plant produces small violet flowers on tall stems, adding a touch of color to aquatic environments. It is a member of the ginger family and prefers damp to soggy soil, making it an excellent choice for water gardens or naturalized wetland areas.
