Trithrinax campestris

Trithrinax campestris is a compact palm native to the arid regions of Uruguay and northeastern Argentina. It features short green to grayish foliage and a trunk hidden by dry leaf bases. The plant is drought and cold-resistant, making it suitable for ornamental use in dry climates.

Trithrinax brasiliensis

Trithrinax brasiliensis is a rare, slow-growing palm native to southern Brazil and Uruguay, reaching up to 20 feet tall. It features more dissected and glaucous leaves than its relative, Trithrinax acanthocoma, and produces attractive white inflorescences. This plant prefers slightly acidic to slightly alkaline soils and is considered 'In Danger' in its native region.
