Trillium 'Julia' is a newly discovered species related to Trillium sp. nov. freemanii, found near Nashville, Tennessee. It features 8-inch tall stalks with double-stacked green and grey blotched leaves and light wine-purple flowers in mid-April. This plant forms a dense clump over time and is suitable for shade gardens.
