Description:
Cheiridopsis pillansii, also known as Lobster Claws, is a low-growing succulent native to South Africa. It forms clumps up to 20 inches wide and grows about 4 inches tall, with cushion-shaped leaves that range from pale green to purple. This slow-growing plant exhibits summer dormancy and blooms in autumn with cream, yellow, pink, or orange flowers. It thrives in well-drained soil with full to partial sun exposure and is hardy in zones 9A to 11.
