Description:

Delosperma echinatum, native to the Eastern Cape of South Africa, is a subtropical arid zone plant with fleshy, barrel-shaped leaves covered in soft spine-like hairs. This succulent shrub produces white or yellow flowers throughout the year and prefers full sun to semi-shade. It thrives in loose, breathable loam mixed with sandy loam and coarse sand, and is best grown in ceramic pots.
