Meehania montis-koyae is an endangered woodland mint from Honshu, Japan, spreading by shallow rhizomes. It features small, heart-shaped, olive-green leaves and mauvy-pink flowers from February to April. This plant goes dormant during extended summer heat, returning in fall.
