Description:

Salvia engelmannii is a herbaceous perennial endemic to the limestone hills of central Texas. It forms a mound 1 to 1.5 feet tall with velvety leaves and pale lavender flowers on 4 to 6-inch spikes. The plant is suitable for rock gardens and requires good drainage.
