Description:
Salvia 'Balsalmisp' is a compact plant with narrow violet-blue flower spikes, resulting from a radiation-induced mutation on Salvia 'Indigo Spires'. It forms a 2-foot tall clump and blooms from June until fall, attracting hummingbirds. This plant requires good winter drainage and should not have its stems cut back until spring.
